Deep Laser Etching
It is a subset of laser engraving. In this process, the
depth of the marking, when deep laser etching is employed,is not more than
0.001 of an inch. A laser beam melts the material surface with its high heat,
and then the melted substance expands and causes a raised mark.
This process can be done on bare, anodized, or plated
metal surfaces, as well as ceramics and polymers.
Laser Engraving Process
In this marking system, the laser beam physically removes
the marking surface of the material. The laser creates such high heat that
the material directly vaporizes instead of melting.It is a quick process and
creates a mark with a significant depth that can be noticed with they eyes and
to the touch.
Laser Marking Process
It’s a basic process in which the laser beam interacts
with the surface of the material and slightly alters its appearance and
properties.It utilizes low temperatures to the metal and its surface, but heats
the material, and that ultimately causes the material to turn black due to
oxidation.
